Why choose porcelain tiles for your garden?
They're durable
One of the main reasons that people love using porcelain paving in their outdoor spaces is that they're very durable. Our porcelain tiles are made using a process called vitrification. During this process, clay, minerals and other elements like quartz are heated to an incredibly high temperature. The different elements melt and a glass substrate is formed through the body of the tile. The resulting porcelain pavers are incredibly durable and naturally water-resistant.

They're water-resistant
As we've mentioned, all of our tiles are made using a vitrification process that created incredibly dense and durable tiles. The density of these rules means that surface water can evaporate or drain away without being absorbed into the tiles. In comparison, other outdoor tiles made of porous sedimentary stone, might become very slippery in wet conditions. It should come as no surprise that porcelain pavers are a popular choice here in the UK, where the weather is notoriously unpredictable!

They're easy to clean
Outdoor tiles are likely to get dirty at some point, what with the kids and pets running around all the time! Don't worry, porcelain paving is designed to be very easy to clean. All you need to do is sweep away surface debris, apply a warm soapy solution and spray your porcelain paving with a power washer or hose. Other types of natural stone pavers can be prone to staining, this is because they're porous so dirt is absorbed into the tile.
As we've already mentioned, our porcelain pavers are water-resistant, so dirt and debris will sit on the surface of the tile until it's removed! Ideal if you've got children or you like to host host messy garden parties.
