About Our Porcelain Tiles

Our indoor porcelain tiles are manufactured to the very highest standard. Each one is rectified to ensure that all tiles are the same size and that all angles are exactly 90-degrees.

Porcelain floor tiles have naturally low porosity, minimising the risk of staining and water damage. Most spills can be wiped clean with ease, and that’s just one of the reasons why our indoor tiles are such an appealing choice for any interior space within the home.

Most of our internal tiles measure 10mm thick, and they can all be installed with ease using a suitable adhesive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I use indoor porcelain tiles?

PrimaPorcelain’s range of indoor porcelain tiles are suitable for use in a wide range of different rooms, for example, the kitchen, bathroom, or hallway.

Are porcelain tiles safe to use in wet rooms?

Our range of porcelain floor tiles are suitable for use in wet areas due to their low porosity – they won’t absorb any moisture, which also makes them very easy to clean. Always be careful when walking on any wet surface, and we’d recommend using a tile with a high grip factor rating.

Grip Factor Rating

Grip Factor Rating

Every PrimaPorcelain product is given a ‘Grip Factor’ rating out of 5 to indicate how slip-resistant they are. All of our indoor tiles offer sufficient grip for the majority of indoor spaces. To minimise the risk of slips and falls, we recommend selecting indoor tiles with Grip Factor 3 if the tiles will be placed in a high-moisture area like the bathroom.

Shade Variation

Shade Variation

Some of our indoor tiles offer a high level of colour consistency, meaning that each tile will have more or less the same colour/pattern as its neighbours. On the other hand, we also stock a number of indoor tiles with high shade variation ratings – ideal if you want your floor to encompass a wide variety of different hues and tones.

Smooth or Textured?

Smooth or Textured?

The texture of our porcelain floor tiles varies somewhat between one product and the next. Some PrimaPorcelain indoor tiles have a smooth finish, while others have a fine texture that provides extra grip and makes the surface of the tile feel more organic. Both are fine choices – it’s up to you to choose which indoor tile design you’d prefer!
